First of all, let me say sorry for the gap in postings, I have had quite a bit on my mind. Now on to the important stuff!
Remember when I posted "The Banshee's Wail" a few weeks ago?? Well, I got a letter yesterday telling me that it has made it to the semi-finals in the poetry contest!!!!! the poem is going to be put in a compilation book along with the other semi-finalists and I have a chance of winning the monthly grand prize of $1,000 and going on to the annual contest where I could get $10,000. I'm just glad that I made it this far! I think the thing that I'm really glad about is that when I called my mother and told her the news, she was really excited about it too. She even told me that she wanted a copy of the book when I ordered it. I mean she may never know how much that means to me.Anyways, I hope you are as happy as I am about all this, Take care.
