I understand the concept that some people who get paid more than others, their time is more valueable than some of us peons who get paid hourly, but when the fuck did that mean that they could get snippy and bitchy to us about doing something that won't take 5 fuckin' minutes a week?!?!?
Let me explain. I have a coworker, we will call her K, who has a daily duty that was given to her by her boss. K's duty is to make sure that all the other employees have filled out their daily papwerwork. The paperwork doesn't take 5 minutes to do per week. Anyways, there is another employee, we will call him S, who, because of the fact that he is paid on a salary while K gets paid on a hourly basis, believes that his time is much more valuable than hers. Now I am not disputing the fact that he does more important things (programming, etc.) during his work day, he does NOT do so much that he cannot take 5 minutes out of one work week(1 minute per DAY) to fill out on little piece of shit form. Now that would not be so much of a problem but that when K does the job that her boss gave her and reminds her cowrkers (S included) if they have fallen behind in their daily paperwork, S gets bitchy about it. Now in my no-so-humble opinion, S needs to get a grip and just fill out the paperwork. I mean really, it's not going to kill him to do it. The rest of us fill out the self same paperwork, and none of us have died yet. Or perhaps it's a matter of pride for him. Maybe he sees it as some kind of surrender if he bows to her request and fills it out. I don't know and probably never will. Anyways, thanks for dropping in on my rant.
