Sep. 2nd, 2004 02:13 amI'm sitting here looking at the Dragon Con site and I'm wanting to try and plan my weekend, but as I sit here and look at it I can only feel sick to my stomach.
What happened is that K'La and I tonight had a discussion about how she percieves my gaming habits. Now, I'll admit that I've been going through the whole "Oh! Bright shiny" stage of City of Heroes and that I've been playing it quite a bit, but I don't think that my gaming is out of control. This conversation with my wife, as it happens, takes place the day after she tells me that I can go to Dragon Con. With spending money no less! Can we say mixed message! That's why I'm here looking at the DCon site with my stomach in knots. I'm halfway tempted to not go and... FUCK! I don't know what to do.
On Fridays, a bunch of us get together and we game. We rotate who is the Game Master each week, each GM running a different game. I run two of those games. Now I understand that what I am about to say is totally reactionary, but I am about ready to just stop running the games in hopes that it will just get her off my back! Again, I have no idea what to do.
